Yes — two layers of coverage. Every cleaner is required to carry their own commercial general liability insurance with minimum $2 million coverage; Houmse collects each certificate before activation, verifies it's active, and tracks the expiry date. Houmse Inc. also carries its own $2 million commercial general liability policy (Northbridge Insurance) plus crime coverage that applies to every booking made through the platform.

Yes — reschedule or cancel for free up to 24 hours before your booking. Within 24 hours, a small fee may apply to cover our cleaner's time.

It's rare, but accidents happen. Houmse is fully insured, so if any damage occurs during a clean, we cover it. Just let us know and we'll handle the rest.

Not at all. Most of our clients give us access instructions (door code, key drop, concierge note) and come back to a clean home. It's totally up to you.

No. Our cleaners bring all the supplies and equipment needed. If you prefer we use specific products you have, just let us know in the booking notes.
